The National Conference of Artist supports a wide range of programs and projects including:

The NCA Gallery Shop
has an excellent selection of ceramics, fiber arts, jewelry, art books, periodicals and journals; fine art posters and limited edition prints and other art items available.

Art Lecture Series

Lectures and gallery talks by invited artists to discuss current exhibitions, historical and contemporary art issues.
Lectures held a Detroit Institute of Arts, Wayne State University, University of Michigan and other sites in Michigan.
Artists forum held monthly at NCA Gallery.

Artists Residencies

Artists presentations to students in elementary, middle and high school.
Artists conduct art workshops, demonstrate their art.
Teach art techniques in variety of media, discuss art careers in schools and community centers.
Student participation in NCA art programs exceeds 1000.

Art Services

Provide seminars and workshops in marketing, proposal writing, resume preparation and networking for artists.
Consultants to community groups for arts programming.
Consultants to collectors, institutions and corporations.

Regional Conferences

Meetings and seminars provide a forum for Michigan artists, art historians, educators, museum personnel, collectors and those interest in the arts to participate in symposia, workshops and seminars on African and African American art.

Collaborations

NCA collaborates with civic, cultural and educational organizations to provide and enhance cultural opportunities in the visual arts within the community.
